Instructions

1.In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

4.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined to form a sticky dough.
5.Divide the dough into 2 balls and flatten each into a disc.
6.Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
7.Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
8.Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
9.Roll the dough out to a thickness of 1/8 inch on a floured surface and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.
10.Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
