Instructions

1.In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg together.
2.In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3.Gradually add in the almond, milk, and dry ingredients, continuing to mix until well combined and a dough forms.
4.Divide the dough into two discs and wrap them in plastic wrap. Refrigerate the dough for at least an hour.
5.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
6.On a lightly floured surface, roll out one disc at a time to 1/4 inch thickness, then use cookie cutters to cut out desired shapes. Re-roll and cut scraps until all dough is used.
7.Place the cookies on the prepared sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool and store in an airtight container.
