Instructions

.Boil salted water in a large pot for the pasta. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
.While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
.Add the cleaned shrimp to the garlic and pepper mixture in the pan and sauté until they turn pink. This should take 3-4 minutes. Then, remove the cooked shrimp from the pan and set them aside.
.In the same pan, add the remaining olive oil and broccoli rabe. Sauté for 1-2 minutes to wilt the greens, then add chicken broth to the pan. Let the broccoli rabe simmer in the broth until the liquid reduces by half.
.Add the cooked shrimp to the pan with the broccoli rabe and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
.Serve the shrimp and broccoli rabe on top of the cooked angel hair pasta. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese if desired.
