2 lbs honey , warmed ( just under 1kg )
1 lb sugar
4 eggs , well beaten
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
4 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
3 7/8 lbs plain flour ( approx 2kg )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2.In a large bowl, combine the warmed honey and sugar.

5.Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until it forms a dough.
