Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2.In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and both sugars together until thick and creamy.
3.Gradually add the lemon juice, almonds, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, allspice, cloves, and flour to the bowl, mixing well with each addition until all ingredients are well combined to form a stiff dough.
4.Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, shape the dough into small balls and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5.Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
6.While the cookies are cooling on the baking sheet, mix the confectioners' sugar and water together to form a smooth icing.
7.Drizzle the icing over the cooled cookies.
