7 1/2 cups flour

2 2/3 cups scalded milk , cooled to lukewarm
4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 packages yeast
1 egg

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
2.Add scalded milk, butter and egg to the bowl and stir until well combined.
3.Gradually add remaining flour until the dough becomes firm and is less sticky to touch
4.Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes or until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
5.Grease a large bowl with oil and place the dough in it, cover it with a damp towel and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until it doubles in size.
6.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
7.Grease a large baking sheet, shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the sheet.
8.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the loaf turns golden brown.,
9.Cool the bread on a wire rack for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
