Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
2 medium zucchini , coarsely grated
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons dill weed
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 -2 jalapeno , minced ( for extra spunk , add a splash of jalapeno juice )
salt & pepper
4 slices cheese , of choice ( optional )
4 large hamburger buns
mustard
mayonnaise
onion
lettuce
tomatoes
bacon
bell pepper ( etc . )
These zucchini burgers are a healthier alternative to a traditional beef burger. The use of grated zucchini in the patty not only adds extra nutrition but also keeps the burgers moist and flavorful. Instructions

1.1Mix together ground beef, grated zucchini, chopped onion, dill weed, dry mustard and minced jalapeno in a large bowl.
2.2 Season with salt & pepper.
3.3Divide the mixture into 4 portions, shaping each one into a patty.
4.4 Heat up a skillet or grill pan.
5.5Cook each patty for 3-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
6.6Toast the buns lightly and spread mustard and mayonnaise on both top and bottom pieces of each bun.
7.7Add the cooked patty and desired toppings to the bun and enjoy!

PROS

The combination of the lean beef and zucchini make this burger much more nutritious than a regular beef burger.
