Ingredients

1/2 lb bacon , cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup onion , minced

1/2 cup milk or 1/2 cup cream

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pan, and drain on paper towels.
3.In the same pan, sauté onion in bacon grease until translucent.
4.Add butter and mushroom to the onion, and sauté until the mushroom is cooked and browned.

6.In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk or cream.
7.Roll pie crust onto a 9-inch pie dish, fitting it to the shape of the dish.
8.Pour the bacon, onion, mushroom, and zucchini mixture on top of the unbaked pie crust. Top the mixture with grated Swiss cheese.
9.Pour the egg mixture on top of the cheese.
10.Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes or until the quiche is cooked through and the crust is golden brown. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
