Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9 inch (23cm) round cake pan with parchment paper.
2.Melt the sugar over low heat in a saucepan until it caramelizes. Pour the melted sugar in the prepared pan, tilting it to cover the entire bottom. Let cool.
3.In a blender, mix the condensed milk, water, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
4.Pour the mixture over the caramelized sugar in the cake pan. Place the pan in a water bath and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
5.Let cool completely, then flip the pan onto a serving plate. The caramel sauce will cover the top of the flan. Serve chilled.
