1/2 pound bacon , diced
3 cloves garlic , minced

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1 ham bone with some meat
3 cups boiling water , or as needed
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 dash hot pepper sauce , or to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1.Drain soaked beans and rinse under cold water.
2.Preheat oven to 300°F.

5.Cover pot and place in oven, baking for 3 hours or until beans are tender.
6.Remove from oven and discard bay leaf and ham bone. Stir in apple cider vinegar, hot pepper sauce, and salt and pepper to taste.
