Ingredients

2 yellow onions , diced
2 cups carrots , diced
1/2 green cabbage , boiled and diced , squeeze out excess water
2 green onions , cut thin
1/2 cup mushroom , diced
2 eggs , divided ( one egg will be needed to seal wrapper )
1/8 cup soy sauce
1 pinch salt and black pepper
2 packages small egg roll wraps ( found near produce section )
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together ground beef or pork, diced yellow onions, diced carrots, boiled and diced green cabbage, thinly cut green onions, diced mushroom, one egg, 1/8 cup of soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and black pepper until well combined.
2.Take a small egg roll wrap and spoon 1 tablespoon of mixture into the center. Use beaten egg to seal the edges of the wrapper and fold the wrapper in half.
3.In a frying pan, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat.
4.Place the wrapped egg rolls into the frying pan and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip the egg rolls and fry the other side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
5.In a separate bowl, mix 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of red pepper, and 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds together. Serve as a dipping sauce for the egg rolls.
