Moussaka is a traditional dish from Greece and the Mediterranean region. Its popularity has spread worldwide, and it is now a classic recipe that people enjoy making at home. Instructions

.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
.Cut the eggplants and potatoes into thin slices, then set aside.
.In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Add chopped onions, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and cinnamon, and mix well. Add tomato paste and cook for about 10 minutes. Take off the heat and let cool.
.Meanwhile, in a separate saucepan, start the béchamel sauce. Whisk butter and flour together over medium heat until the mixture turns golden brown. Pour in the milk and keep whisking to avoid lumps. Add nutmeg, white pepper, and salt, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
.Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish and start layering the eggplants, potato slices, and meat sauce. Repeat the layers to cover the dish. Pour the béchamel sauce over the top of the moussaka and sprinkle with parmesan and feta cheese on top. Bake for about 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the dish is bubbly. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
