1 cup dark beer
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 pounds cod fillets , cubed
1 quart vegetable oil for frying
20 corn tortillas
5 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup salsa
1 lime , cut into wedges

Instructions

1.In a bowl, whisk together beer, flour, and salt until smooth
2.Add cubed cod fillets into the bowl and mix well with the batter.
3.Set aside and heat vegetable oil in a deep-fryer to 375°F (190°C).
4.Using tongs, carefully add cubes of cod fish to the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
5.Remove from heat and set aside.

8.Add fish, the cabbage mixture, and a squeeze of lime to each tortilla.
9.Serve with additional lime wedges on the side.
