Instructions

1.Dissolve the yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in 1/4 cup warm water and set aside.
2.In a large bowl, sift together the flour and salt.
3.Add the powdered milk (or coffee creamer), 1 teaspoon sugar, vegetable oil, and remaining 1 cup of water. Mix thoroughly.
4.Add in the yeast mixture and mix until well combined.
5.Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
6.Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
7.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
8.Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan.
9.Let the dough rise again for about 30 minutes.
10.Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes or until it becomes golden brown.
11.Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
