250 g chick peas , drained
2 cloves garlic , crushed
1 red chili , seeded and finely chopped
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chopped of fresh mint
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
2 spring onions , finely chopped
1 large egg , beaten
seasoning
sesame seeds , for coating
sunflower oil , for frying

Instructions

1.In a food processor, blitz the chickpeas, garlic, chili, coriander, cumin, mint, parsley, and spring onions until well combined.
2.Add the egg and seasoning, and pulse until the mixture forms a thick paste.
3.Wet your hands and shape the mixture into 18-20 equal-sized balls. Roll them in sesame seeds until evenly coated.
4.Heat enough oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the balls until golden brown for about 2-3 minutes on each side, then remove and place on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
5.Serve hot and enjoy with hummus, pita bread, or your favorite dipping sauce.
