Ingredients

3/4 cup Egg Beaters egg substitute
1 1/4 cups milk
3/4 cup whole wheat flour

The traditional recipe calls for flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and salt; however, this recipe uses whole wheat flour and egg substitute, which are a healthier alternative to their traditional counterparts. These pancakes are delicious, filling, and perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg substitute and milk until well combined.
2.Slowly add the whole wheat flour, whisking constantly, until the batter is smooth and has no lumps.
3.Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Grease lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
4.Pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet. Tilt the pan to spread the batter evenly over the surface.
5.Cook for approximately 2 minutes or until the bottom of the pancake is golden brown.
6.Flip the pancake over and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until the other side is golden brown.
7.Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the skillet lightly between each pancake.
