Whole Wheat Crumpets are a hearty and healthy option for breakfast, perfect for a lazy weekend morning or a quick weekday meal. These crumpets are made with whole wheat flour, which adds fiber and nutrients to the batter. The recipe incorporates honey instead of sugar, which makes the crumpets naturally sweet and versatile. They can be served with various toppings such as honey, jam, or cream cheese, or paired with savory ingredients like bacon and eggs. The crumpets are easy to make with ingredients that are readily available in most pantries, and the recipe can be adjusted to make more or fewer crumpets as desired.

4.Cover the bowl with a towel and let the batter sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
5.Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Grease the metal rings with cooking spray and place them on the pan.

7.Cook the crumpets until the surface is covered with small bubbles and the edges are cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
