Ingredients

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
3 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger , minced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons dark molasses
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3/4 cup plain yogurt
1 cup water
3/4 cup cashews or 3/4 cup unsalted peanuts , chopped
This freshly baked whole wheat bread with ginger and cashews is a nutritious and delicious addition to any meal. Instructions

1.In a small bowl, add the yeast and 1/2 cup of the whole wheat flour. Mix together and set aside.
2.In a large bowl, combine the rest of the flour, minced ginger, and salt.
3.In another bowl, mix together the molasses, vegetable oil, plain yogurt, and water.
4.Add the yeast mixture and the molasses mixture to the flour mixture. Stir to combine.
5.Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
6.Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth.
7.Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for an hour or until it doubles in size.
8.Preheat your ABM and pour in the dough. Add chopped cashews on top.
9.Bake in your ABM according to manufacturer's instructions.
