48 ladyfingers ( your ladyfinger needs will depend on if you split them , the size of pan you use , and how thick you s )
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa , divided

Instructions

1.In a small saucepan, bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil. Add 1/2 cup of finely ground coffee and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and cool completely.
2.In a separate saucepan, bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil. Add 1/4 cup of coffee liqueur and 1/4 cup of vodka. Boil for 1 minute and cool completely.
3.In a large bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth.
4.In a shallow dish, add the remaining finely ground coffee and mix with 1/4 cup of coffee liqueur and 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder.
5.Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and liqueur mixture, making sure to coat both sides well. Place the dipped ladyfingers into a dish, making a single layer.
6.Pour half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth it out.
7.Repeat steps 5 and 6 to create a second layer.
8.Dust the remaining unsweetened cocoa powder over the top.
9.Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight.
