Ingredients

12 large cabbage leaves ( cut 1-2 inches of spine out )
1 cup cooked rice
1 lb ground venison ( I used venison sausage casing removed but ground beef is fine )
1 egg
1 small onion ( diced )
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 teaspoons garlic powder ( or one clove minced )
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons oregano leaves
24 ounces diced tomatoes
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup cheese ( shredded )
Venison-Beef Cabbage Rolls is a healthy and filling dish that combines a warm, juicy filling with tender, pliable cabbage leaves. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.In a pot of boiling water, blanch your cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes until limber.
3.In a bowl, combine your cooked rice, ground venison, egg, onion, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano leaves, and salt and pepper.
4.Put a tablespoon of the mixture in the center of each cabbage leaf, fold inwards and roll up, tucking in the ends. Repeat for remaining leaves.
5.Place the rolls in a baking dish with their seams down.
6.Pour the can of diced tomatoes over the top of the rolls.
7.Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake in the oven for 50 minutes.
8.Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the rolls.
9.Bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
