Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter ( unsalted )
1/4 lb pastry dough ( Phylo , stale )
3 tablespoons hazelnuts ( ground )
3 tablespoons almonds ( ground )
3 tablespoons pistachio nuts ( ground )
3 tablespoons sugar ( brown )
2 tablespoons coconut ( sweetened flakes )
2 tablespoons raisins
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Umm Ali is a decadent Egyptian dessert that is similar to bread pudding. It is a combination of baked phyllo pastry soaked in sweetened milk and cream, flavored with nuts and raisins, then topped with cinnamon and occasionally coconut shavings. Umm Ali is an excellent dessert to serve during Ramadan, Eid or any festive occasion. This flavorful dessert has won over many hearts, and it’s sure to leave you happy and satisfied. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Tear the pastry dough into small pieces and place in a baking dish.
3.Add the hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, brown sugar, sweetened coconut flakes and raisins to the baking dish, and mix all together.
4.Pour the heavy cream into the dish and top it with cinnamon.
5.Bake for 20-25 minutes till it's golden brown on top.
