1 small onion , thinly sliced
1/2 head green cabbage , shredded
2 tablespoons water
2 cups sauerkraut ( drained )
4 ounces tomato paste
salt and pepper , to taste
2 tablespoons dill , finely diced ( optional )

Instructions

1.Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat
2.Add onion and sauté until translucent
3.Add shredded cabbage and sauté for 5 minutes

5.Cover and simmer over low heat for 45-60 minutes, until cabbage is tender
6.Serve hot
