Ingredients

3/4 cup ground dark roast coffee
1 tablespoon ground cardamom
6 cups water
2 cups almond milk ( or soy milk , coconut milk , whole milk , or half and half )
1/3 - 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Instructions

1.In a medium-sized pot, bring water and ground cardamom to a boil.
2.Add ground dark roast coffee to the boiling water and stir.
3.Remove pot from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
4.In another pot, warm almond milk on low heat.
5.Add sugar and chocolate syrup to the almond milk while continuously stirring.
6.Pour the coffee through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl to remove the coffee grounds.
7.Divide the coffee and almond milk mixture into 6 cups or mugs.
