1 cup Greek yogurt ( or regular american yogurt )
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
6 garlic cloves ( minced )
2 lemons
2 1/4 lbs chicken thighs ( bonless , cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces )

Instructions

1.Mix together Aleppo pepper, yogurt, olive oil, red wine vinegar, tomato paste, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic, and lemon zest in a bowl.
2.Add chicken to the bowl and stir well to coat.
3.Cover bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
4.Preheat grill to medium-high heat, or preheat your oven broiler.
5.Thread chicken pieces onto skewers and discard leftover marinade.
6.Grill or broil the chicken kebabs, turning occasionally, until charred and cooked through (about 12-15 minutes).
7.Squeeze lemon juice over the top and serve as desired.
