Ingredients

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, add the ground turkey, chopped onions, fresh breadcrumbs, chicken broth, nutmeg, chopped parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
2.Using your hands, form the mixture into 8 or 9 patties.
3.In a large skillet, heat canola oil over medium-high heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until they are browned and cooked through.
4.Meanwhile, prepare the curry sauce. In a medium saucepan, heat butter over medium heat. Add the almonds and cook until they are golden brown in color. Remove and keep them aside.
5.To the same saucepan, add chopped apple and shallots and cook until they are soft, for about 3 minutes. Add curry powder, chicken broth, and tomato puree. Stir it well and let it simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
6.Add the heavy cream and almonds to the saucepan and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
7.Serve the turkey patties with curry sauce on top, and enjoy!
