4 links pork sausage
2 pounds potatoes , peeled and cubed
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons milk ( optional )
1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

6.Spoon mashed potatoes onto a serving plate. Top with sausage and onion gravy.
