4 -5 Italian sausages , sliced ( spicy if you can find it , To make sure it is firm enough to slice well , freeze for about an hour . )
1 diced onion
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 green bell pepper , diced
1 red bell pepper , diced
4 -5 mushrooms , diced ( baby portabellas if you can find them )
5 roma tomatoes , diced ( or 1 can of diced tomatoes )
2 cans tomato sauce
2 tablespoons oregano
2 tablespoons basil
1 tablespoon thyme
1 -2 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
