PROS

This macaroni casserole is quick and easy to make, perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.

The veggie crumbles add a meaty texture and flavor to the dish, and the vegan mozzarella cheese makes it dairy-free and vegan-friendly.

CONS

The condensed cream of tomato soup and chili sauce contain added sodium and some artificial flavors and preservatives.

This dish is high in carbohydrates and does not contain many vegetables or other nutrient-dense ingredients.

HEALTH & BENEFITS

While not a superfood, this macaroni casserole does contain some plant-based protein from the veggie crumbles.
The elbow macaroni is made from enriched wheat flour, which contains some vitamins and minerals.
However, this dish should be enjoyed in moderation as part of a balanced diet, due to its high carbohydrate content and added sodium from the canned soup and chili sauce.
