Ingredients

1 package lasagna noodles
1 tablespoon salt
3/4 lb ground turkey
1 lb Italian sausage , spicy , ground
8 ounces mushrooms , chopped
1 cup onion , chopped
6 garlic cloves , minced
1 tablespoon sugar
2.5 jars spaghetti sauce , tomato and basil flavor
1 lb ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons fresh basil , minced
2 eggs
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 lb mozzarella cheese , shredded
1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese , grated
4 ounces provolone cheese , cut in 1/2 inch pieces

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, adding salt to water. Once cooked, rinse them in cold water and set aside.
3.In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, and garlic till the meat is browned.
4.Add sugar and tomato sauce to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes.
5.In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, eggs, parsley, and basil.
6.In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce evenly in the bottom.
7.Place a layer of noodles over the meat sauce followed by a layer of the cheese mixture, provolone cheese, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.
8.Repeat these layers until all ingredients have been used up, ending with a layer of cheese.
9.Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 25 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
10.Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
