40 g butter
60 g margarine
80 g brown sugar
3 tablespoons honey
250 g oats
1 pinch salt
1 banana , medium to large in size

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 170C / Gas mark 3.
2.Grease a baking tin or line with baking parchment.
3.Melt the butter, margarine, and brown sugar together in a medium-sized saucepan over a low heat.
4.Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
5.Stir in oats, honey, salt, and mashed banana until combined.
6.Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and spread it out evenly.
7.Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
8.Let it cool for 5 minutes before marking into squares.
9.Leave to cool completely in the tin before removing.
