Ingredients

2 large sesame seed rolls , cut in half
2 tablespoons garlic aioli
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard ( I requested Dijon on my sandwich ) ( optional )
2 ounces provolone cheese
4 tablespoons green olive tapenade ( fyi )
2 ounces fontina
mixed greens , washed and dried
2 tablespoons marinated sun-dried tomatoes
The Toscano Deli Sandwich is inspired by the flavors of Tuscany, Italy. This sandwich is a great option for a quick and easy meal. Featuring a combination of garlic aioli, green olive tapenade, and sun-dried tomatoes, this sandwich is perfect for those who love bold flavors. This recipe makes two sandwiches, making it great for a couple or two friends to enjoy.

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2.Arrange your sesame seed rolls on a baking tray and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until they are lightly toasted.
3.Spread 1 tablespoon of garlic aioli on each of the bottom halves of the rolls. If desired, add 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard on top of the aioli.
4.Add 1 oz of provolone cheese on each of the top halves of the rolls.
5.Place 2 tablespoons of green olive tapenade over the aioli on each bottom half of the rolls.
6.Add 1 oz of fontina on top of the tapenade.
7.Add some mixed greens followed by another layer of 1 oz of provolone cheese on top of the fontina.
8.Top each sandwich with 1 tablespoon of marinated sun-dried tomatoes.
9.Cover with the top half of the sesame seed rolls. Serve immediately.
