Torta Salata di Broccolo Romanesco e Mascarpone is an Italian-inspired quiche that is perfect for brunch, lunch, or dinner. This recipe features Romanesco cauliflower, a unique and delicious vegetable that is native to Italy. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch (23-cm) pie dish with butter.
2.Roll out the puff pastry and fit it into the pie dish. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of Pecorino cheese over the bottom of the crust, followed by the cubed Brie cheese.
3.Steam the Romanesco cauliflower florets for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and transfer to a bowl to cool.
4.In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until creamy. Add the eggs, milk, 1 1/2 tablespoons of grated Pecorino cheese, and smashed garlic. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried sweet chile pepper to taste.
5.Spread the mascarpone mixture over the Brie cheese in the crust. Arrange the Romanesco florets on top.
6.Bake for 35-40 minutes until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
