This recipe uses Amaretto liquor to add a kick of flavor to the dish, but you can also experiment with other liquors or seasonings of your choice. Quinoa has been an important staple food in South America for centuries, and it has recently gained popularity worldwide as a healthful alternative to rice, pasta, and bread.
