Ingredients

6 bolillos rolls
1 1/2 lbs flank steaks , thinly sliced
1 can rosarita zesty fat free refried beans with jalapeno
2 cups lettuce , finely chopped
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese , shredded ( optional )
2 tablespoons hot sauce ( optional )
3 medium tomatoes , diced
3 tablespoons yellow onions , finely minced
1 1/2 jalapenos , minced
1 lime , juice of
2 tablespoons cilantro , finely minced

3 avocados

Instructions

1.Preheat grill to high heat.
2.In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Brush steak slices with the marinade mixture and set aside.
3.Cut the bolillos rolls in half and toast on the grill until lightly browned.
4.In a medium bowl, combine the mashed beans, hot sauce, minced onion, minced jalapeño and lime juice until well mixed. Spread the mixture onto the cut side of the toasted rolls.
5.Place the steak slices on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until nicely charred. Once cooked, dress the steak slices with a squeeze of lime juice.
6.Layer the steak slices, shredded cheese (if using), lettuce, tomatoes and cilantro on top of the toasted bolillos rolls. Finally, spread the avocado mixture on the other half of the roll and close the sandwich.
