6 mushrooms , sliced
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 tablespoon no-added-salt tomato paste
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
8 fluid ounces beef gravy
1 package frozen peas or ( 10 ounce ) package peas and pearl onions

Instructions

1.Peel and slice the potatoes, then boil them in beef broth until they are fully cooked.
2.Drain the potatoes and mash them with unsalted butter, whole milk or heavy cream, and a dash of pepper.
3.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
4.In a large skillet, cook the ground lean pork or lean ground veal until browned, then drain the excess fat.
5.Add in the chopped tomato, sliced mushrooms, chopped parsley, no-added-salt tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef gravy. Stir until well combined and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.
6.Add in the package of frozen peas or peas and pearl onions, and cook until they are warmed through.
7.Grease a 9-inch pie dish and spread the meat mixture across the bottom of the dish.
8.Spoon the mashed potatoes on top and smooth them out to cover the meat mixture.
9.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
