7 ounces toblerone bittersweet chocolate ( two 3.52-ounce bars )
1/3 cup heavy cream
3 large egg whites
1/3 cup sugar
strawberry
carambola , sliced ( star fruit , available seasonally at specialty produce markets )
red seedless grapes or green grape
dried apricot

Instructions

1.Break the toblerone chocolate into small pieces and transfer them to a double boiler.
2.Add heavy cream to the chocolate and heat it over low heat, stirring until the chocolate is completely melted.
3.In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they become stiff using a mixer. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until glossy peaks form.
4.Fold in the chocolate mixture into the egg whites gently with a spatula.
5.Crush the meringue with hands or a food processor and set aside.
6.Wash and cut the fruits into uniform sizes to prepare for serving.
7.Place the mousse in a fondue bowl and sprinkle meringues on top alongside the fruit slices.
