Ingredients

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons instant coffee granules
1/2 cup rum or 1/2 cup brandy
2 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 package fast rise yeast
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter , cut into pieces
1/2 cup water
8 ounces mascarpone cheese
36 chocolate-covered coffee beans
Tiramisu Babas are small, brioche-like cakes soaked in a mixture of coffee and liquor, topped with smooth and creamy mascarpone cheese, and a chocolate-covered coffee bean. This dessert can be served as a sweet ending to any meal or as a special treat during holiday celebrations or family gatherings. Instructions

1.In a small saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves.
2.Remove from heat and stir in instant coffee granules and rum/brandy. Set aside to cool.
3.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Set aside.
4.In another bowl, beat eggs and unsalted butter together. Add water and mix well.
5.Gradually add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
6.Grease a Baba mold with butter and dust it with flour.
7.Pour the batter into the mold and let it rise for 30 minutes.
8.Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
9.Remove from oven and let the Babas cool for 10 minutes before unmolding.
10.In a medium mixing bowl, stir together cooled coffee mixture and mascarpone cheese until it becomes smooth.
11.Dip the tops of the Babas into the coffee mixture and place a chocolate-covered coffee bean on top.
12.Serve and enjoy!
