1 cup chopped carrots
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric ( optional )
salt and ground black pepper to taste
2/3 head cabbage , diced and rinsed
2 tablespoons water , or as needed

Instructions

1.Heat vegetable oil in a pot, add onions, and sauté until it becomes translucent.
2.Add the garlic, turmeric, salt, and black pepper, and sauté for another minute.
3.Add the carrots and sauté until they are cooked through, about 5 minutes.
4.Add the chopped cabbage and stir well.
5.Add 2 tablespoons of water and mix again.
6.Cover the pot tightly with a lid and let it simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
7.Serve hot with Injera or bread of your choice.
