Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 370°F (190°C).

4.Sprinkle the flour over the onions and cook for another 2 minutes before adding beef and chicken stock.
5.Bring the soup to a boil, reduce heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
6.Season the soup with salt and pepper, sprinkle thyme leaves and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
7.While still hot, ladle soup into the oven-safe soup crocks.
8.Add a slice of toasted baguette on top of each, sprinkle with cheese, and bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and golden.
9.Serve immediately.
