Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
6 slices maple bacon
1 can corn ( drained )
1 cup chicken stock
1 small sweet onion ( diced )
3 tablespoons of minced garlic ( separated )
4 tablespoons italian seasoning ( separated )
8 medium red potatoes
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon celery salt

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.Boil the potatoes until fork-tender. Remove from heat, drain and let cool slightly.
3.Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and let cool then crumble.
4.In the same skillet, add onion and cook until softened. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add the garlic, 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, corn and chicken stock. Stir to combine and simmer for 10 minutes.
5.Mash cooled potatoes with butter, milk, celery salt, 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning and one tablespoon of minced garlic.
6.Layer the beef mixture on the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish, then top with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
7.Bake for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
