Ingredients

1 1/2 tablespoons ground allspice

3/4 white onion , chopped
1/3 cup chopped green onion
3/4 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
1 chicken , cut up

Instructions

1.Combine the allspice, thyme, cayenne pepper, black pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, sage, salt, garlic powder and sugar in a large bowl and stir.
2.Add the olive oil, canola oil, soy sauce, white vinegar, orange juice, and lime juice, then whisk until the ingredients are well combined.
3.Add the scotch bonnet and white onion, followed by the green onion and garlic, and mix well.
4.Add the chicken pieces to the bowl, making sure they are well coated with the marinade.
5.Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, to allow the chicken to marinate.
6.When you're ready to cook the chicken, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
7.Arrange the chicken pieces on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
