This salad is inspired by the Thai cuisine, which is known for its spicy and savory dishes. The brown sugar, garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, and peanut oil dressing provides a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and nutty flavors that complement the crispiness and crunchiness of the veggies and chips. Roasted vegetable chips, such as Terra, are a healthier and tastier alternative to regular potato chips as they are made with real vegetables and no artificial preservatives. The addition of basil and chopped peanuts adds a layer of complexity and texture to the salad that makes it visually and sensorially appealing.
