Ingredients

1 gallon distilled water
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1/2 tablespoon chili pepper
1/3 cup kona ground coffee ( optional )
3 cups pantai norasingh Thai tea mix
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter pancake syrup pancake syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanillin powder artificial vanilla flavoring
1 pinch sea salt
1 1/2 cups distilled water
Thai Iced Tea, also known as cha-yen in Thailand, is a popular beverage that originated in Southeast Asia. The beverage is dark orange in color and has a unique taste that differs from regular iced tea due to the use of spices and sweeteners. The Pantai Norasingh Thai Tea mix contains additional spices such as star anise, tamarind, and clove which gives it the distinct flavor that everybody loves. The best part? Instructions

1.Boil 1 1/2 cups of distilled water, remove from heat and add the cinnamon stick, black pepper, chili pepper and Kona ground coffee. Let it steep for 5 minutes before straining through a coffee filter.
2.In a separate pot, bring a gallon of distilled water to a boil.
3.Add the Pantai Norasingh Thai Tea mix, white sugar, brown sugar, artificial vanilla flavoring, pancake syrup, and sea salt to the pot and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
4.Remove from heat and add the filtered coffee mixture to the tea mixture. Mix well and let it cool down to room temperature.
5.Pour the mixture into a pitcher or jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight. When ready to serve, fill a glass with ice, pour the Thai iced tea and add a splash of condensed milk if you desire. Enjoy!
