4 garlic cloves , minced
3 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lime juice ( or substitute lemon juice )
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 lime , juice of

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, combine coarsely ground black peppercorns, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice and brown sugar.
2.Add the chicken strips to the marinade and toss until the chicken is well coated.
3.Preheat your grill or grill pan to high heat. Grill the chicken strips until they are golden brown and cooked through, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
4.While the chicken is grilling, prepare your salad greens, mint leaves, basil, and cherry tomatoes.
5.In a large mixing bowl, toss the salad greens with the fresh herbs. Add in the sliced cherry tomatoes if desired.
6.Once the chicken is finished grilling, remove it from the heat and slice it into thin strips. Add the chicken to the salad bowl and toss everything together.
