PROS

These chicken filets are packed with flavour and spice, perfect for those who enjoy bold flavours in their meals.
The breading adds a nice crunch to the dish while the marinade keeps the chicken moist.
It’s a great dish for a quick weeknight dinner.

CONS

The dish is a bit high in sodium due to the use of fish sauce.
Additionally, deep-frying the chicken instead of baking it may result in even crispier breading, but it will also increase the calorie and fat content of the dish.

HEALTH & BENEFITS

Despite the high sodium content of fish sauce, it is a good source of minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium. The use of lime juice and zest in the marinade also provides vitamin C and antioxidants.
