Ingredients

6 cups apples ( I used diced , peeled , cooking 5 granny smiths and 4 Fuji apple )
1/2 cup apple cider
1 teaspoon fruit fresh ( optional )
1 teaspoon butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups brown sugar , packed
1 package powdered fruit pectin
3 cups sugar
1/4 cup tequila ( Tezon or any smooth white you enjoy )
1/4 cup butterscotch schnapps

Instructions

1.In a large pot, combine the diced apples, apple cider, fruit fresh, butter, and ground cinnamon.

3.Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4.In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, powdered fruit pectin, and sugar.
5.Slowly add the dry ingredient mixture to the pot, stirring constantly.
6.Increase the heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
7.Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
8.Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the tequila and butterscotch schnapps.
9.Skim off any foam from the surface of the jam.
10.Ladle the jam into sterilized jars.
11.Seal the jars and process them in a water bath for 10 minutes.
12.Remove the jars from the water bath and let them cool.
13.Serve and enjoy!
