Ingredients

1 lb pork tenderloin ( boneless , fat removed , cut into ~3/4-inch chops )
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 egg
4 tablespoons olive oil
all-purpose flour ( to coat , as described )
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown mustard
1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2.Crumble the panko breadcrumbs into a shallow dish.
3.Beat a raw egg in a separate dish.
4.Coat each piece of pork in flour, shaking off any excess flour.
5.Dip each floured pork cutlet into the egg, then coat it with the panko breadcrumbs.
6.Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
7.Fry each pork cutlet in the hot skillet for approximately 3 minutes on both sides until golden brown.
8.Transfer the pork cutlets onto a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
9.While the pork is baking, prepare the Tonkatsu sauce by mixing the applesauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown mustard, and rice vinegar.
10.Serve the Tonkatsu hot with the sauce poured over the pork cutlets.
