Ingredients

1 packet tempura mix
500 g pacific dory fillets ( Or other flaky fish )
1 medium red pepper
1 medium green pepper
1 medium orange bell pepper
1 large onion , sliced
3 sprigs coriander , chopped
4 tablespoons abalone sauce
2 teaspoons cornflour
4 tablespoons water
24 ml water
1 teaspoon oil
3 tablespoons oil
3 cups oil
This Tempura Fish Stir-Fry With Assorted Peppers is a delicious and nutritious dish that is perfect for lunch or dinner. The crispy, flavorful fish pairs perfectly with the slightly sweet and tangy sauce, which is made with abalone sauce and cornflour. Instructions

1.Cut the fish fillets into bite-size pieces and set aside.
2.In a bowl, prepare the tempura mix according to package instructions. Dip each piece of fish in the mixture and set aside on a plate.
3.Cut the peppers into thin strips and set aside.
4.Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a wok over high heat. Add the fish pieces and stir-fry for 2 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
5.Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in the wok over high heat. Add the onion and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the peppers and stir-fry for another 2 minutes until slightly softened.
6.In a small bowl, mix together the abalone sauce, cornflour, and 24 ml of water. Pour this mixture into the wok and stir everything together well for 1 minute until the sauce thickens.
7.Return the fish to the wok and stir everything again for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
8.Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot over steamed rice.
