Ingredients

3 cups cooked garbanzo beans
1 onion , chopped
1 tomatoes , chopped
2 green chilies , chopped
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon chat masala
1 teaspoon tandoori masala
1 tablespoon dried fenugreek leaves ( kasuri methi )
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon cilantro , chopped
Tava Chana, also known as Spicy Garbanzo Beans, is a popular vegetarian dish that originated in India. Instructions

1.Heat oil in a pan and add garlic and ginger paste.
2.Add chopped onions and green chilies. Cook till onions are caramelized.
3.Add chopped tomatoes and cook till they are softened.
4.Add chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chat masala and tandoori masala to the pan.
5.Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and let it simmer.
6.Once the water has evaporated, add cooked garbanzo beans and dried fenugreek leaves. Mix everything together and let it cook for 5-8 minutes.
7.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
