Ingredients

2 packages tofu
1 lb ground beef
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 garlic clove
3 large chili peppers , chopped fine ( or use chili flakes )
1 green onion
4 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoons cornstarch , mixed with 1 cup of water
1 tablespoon sesame oil ( optional )
jasmine rice

Instructions

1.Drain the water from the tofu and cut it into cubes.
2.Heat the vegetable oil on medium heat in a large pan, add the garlic and chili peppers, and cook for 1 minute.
3.Add in the ground beef and cook until brown.
4.Add in the soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, chili powder, and sugar and stir well.
5.Add in the cubed tofu and gently stir to coat.
6.Add in the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
7.Add sesame oil and green onions for garnish and serve with jasmine rice.
